This is one of a series of interviews completed by the Milton Historical Society (http://miltonhistoricalsociety.ca) as part of the production of the book "Milton Remembers WWII 1939-1945" and times thereafter. Several veterans of Milton and the surrounding community (as well as those new to Milton later in the project) were interviewed by MHS staff to document their experiences in Milton, their service to Canada (and the Allied Forces) in WWII and the impact that this had on their life. This is the interview of Art Cooper who served for more that 4 years as an Orderly Room clerk for the Lorne Scots, who were shipped overseas to act as a defence platoon. The interview was conducted by Ken Lamb on September 6, 1994.
